Melinda Polly joined LaCouse Law in the Fall of 2022 as a Family Law Paralegal to Joel LaCourse, Ashley Ailey and James Williamson III. She provides our attorneys with solid and reliable assistance and serves as a listening ear to clients. In addition to Family Law, Melinda has also has experience with Estate Planning, Criminal, Social Security Disability Appeals, Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury case assistance.
Family Law clients are often faced with a variety of emotional situations. Melinda presents a calm, helpful and supportive demeanor as she handles clients’ intimate needs, while patiently explaining procedures. While our clients experience open and frequent communication with their attorney, Melinda serves as a liaison between the clients and LaCourse Law. Our Family Law attorneys look to her to draft necessary documents, meeting directly with clients, scheduling appointments and court appearances, as well as maintaining organized files.
Melinda graduated from Northeastern State University in May of 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree consisting of a major in Legal Studies and a minor in Business and holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Northeastern State University in the Fall of 2022. She has over 6 years of experience as a Paralegal, which has provided her exposure to many areas of law in multiple states. Melinda feels it is important to increase her knowledge, not only in the legal field, but in other areas to grow the client experience therefore remains an active member in the National Association of Legal Assistants.
Melinda enjoys spending time with her 8-year-old daughter and Moorkie, who frequents at the Broken Arrow Rose West dog park. In addition, she enjoys going out to eat, shopping, getting her nails done and working towards her PhD from OSU in Forensic Psychology, Melinda stays busy. Melinda and her family are active members in Life Church and she relies upon her faith to better serve clients.
